The Plaza - A Fairmont Managed Hotel
The Plaza offers a luxurious and iconic experience in the heart of New York City, with amenities such as a spa, 24/7 front desk, supervised childcare/activities, and an electric car charging station.
Of course it’s the Plaza so it’s historic and beautiful as we all know. The concierge was the crème of the crop. Specifically Julia in concierge helped set up reservations and show tix at the very last minute. She was exceptional! I say almost iconic bc so much of the Plaza’s amenities are nonexistent and it’s super sad. The upstairs bar, the back restaurants and the shopping concourse are all closed. Most of the service is incredible however, the hotel guest bar and lounge area had very poor service for some reason. We also found broken glass pieces and a pokey tack thing in our hotel room. That could’ve been a disaster on our feet. I brought it up to reception and we were not comped anything other than a sorry but that’s fine I guess just glad no one was hurt. Other than those couple things, it was gorgeous and enjoyable.
